Task
You will plan and "travel" to three cities anywhere in the world. The cities will form the "leg" of the trip. You will need to conduct research in order to choose three cities that are approximately 1000 miles apart.
You will spend approximately 24 days on your trip. Departure to and from your home city is not included in the travel time; the "clock" starts with your arrival at the first city and ends with your departure from their last city. You may not travel by plane between cities. The only approved plane travel is to and from your home city. You will spend a minimum of 4 days 'visiting' each city and a minimum of 4 days traveling to the next.
To document your trip, you will need to create a PowerPoint "slide show", a first person narrative in the form of a travel journal, and you will record (and compare/contrast) "Cinderella" stories from each of the cultures you visit. Also, collect a recipe for a traditional dish from each culture and other artifacts from the region. The project will be divided into legs (a city and the travel to the next is one leg) and will end with a complete presentation. Upon your "return" you will present one leg of your slide show to the class.
