Scrapbook Pages for Teachers

&

Life-Long Learners

Primary and Secondary Audience

The primary audience of this site is educators of all grades and subjects.  It is designed to provide ideas and examples of how students can use scrapbooking techniques to document and share what they've learned.

The secondary audience is "scrapbookers" who are looking for techniques, links, and examples of page design that they can use to develop their craft and hint for getting their kids involved in scrapbooking and journaling.

Needs Assessment

After a review of resources currently available online, electronic bulletin board survey and discussion with other educators, I determined that a site that provides dynamic and interactive examples as well as techniques directed toward education professionals was not available.

Website Purpose and Goals

This site's purpose is to provide educators with a site that will provide examples and ideas for projects that students can complete that will help students develop creative and critical thinking skills and develop writing skills through journaling.

It is the goal of this site to also provide a resource for educators and scrapbookers alike, as well as a place for visitors to contribute project ideas, lesson plans and share what they've learned about scrapbooks for personal use and for educational use.

A secondary goal of this site is to attempt to pull together the many resources for scrapbooking available on the web.

Unique Contribution

There are a number of sites that provide tips and examples of scrapbook design.  This page will act as a portal for educators and those interested in developing their craft.  It will also provide educators with a forum for discussion the use of scrapbooking to teach across the curriculum.

Element  Discussion

This page will be a growing, constantly changing page that will provide dynamic and interactive content.  Some of the content planned for this site:
